Hello world!

Welcome to my website.
I am a writer, journalist and astrologer. I contribute regularly to The Observer and Uncut, among others. You can find my reviews and features for both publications by following the links below.
The weekly horoscope I have contributed to The Observer Magazine for several years has now come to an end. I’m considering writing some kind of astrological forecast on this site, but I’m undecided what form that might take. Watch this space for more information.
Meanwhile you can find my sun sign forecasts for 2010 by clicking this link.

Dear Neil,
I am so glad that you have started doing horoscopes here – checking your horoscopes was the first thing I would do on a sunday morning and I found them so helpful, so I was gutted to find out that the column had stopped. It’s great you are doing them here on line – hooray! And you have more room so it’s even better than the observer, for us anyway, I hope it’s good for you too.
all the best
from a fan!
Hi there Neil
A late comment but for the last few weeks I keep checking the observer each sunday to view your column but to no avail. This was my premier reason for reading the observer for years. After a bit of searching I see you’ve a new home here. Phew! Thank goodness you haven’t disappeared completely! Now, I’ll be checking here every sunday instead. Best wishes with your new plans.
a loyal fan!
A late addition to say – I was also very disappointed to see your column had gone. You are the most eloquent and subtly expressive of the horoscope writers I have read, and it was always a pleasure to read your writing. Indeed you were one of the main reasons I enjoyed the Observer, and I’m not persuaded by its makeover. I hope you continue to communicate online. I’m sure people will find you here and stay reading. Good luck.
I am another disappointed reader and look forward to a new home for your forecasts which are spookily accurate!
I am an Aries and really ought to be at the top of this feed because I like to lead…………..
couldn’t believe it when I opened the Observer this morning and you were not there! The first page I turn to on a Sunday is your horoscopes! And they have been so useful over the years! Am seriously considering changing Sunday papers now – a real loss Neill
Je joins ma voix à toutes les précédentes dans le déqapointement de ne pas vous trouver dans l’Observer de cette semaine. Vite vite revenez nous
I add my voice to all the others to say how disapointed I was not to find you in the Obsever this week. Come back ver soon.
Boohoo! I’m so disappointed that your weekly horoscopes are no longer appearing in the Observer Magazine – the rotters.
Your horoscopes provided great insight and where often shockingly accurate.
Hello,
I felt compelled to write to you, regarding the end of your wonderful column in the Observer. I only really brought it for your insights. I’m gutted! I hope that you will continue to publish your horoscopes somewhere.
Disappointed Pisces

No! Your contributions to the Observer have been sustaining me for the last couple of years! I was completely disoriented not to find your column in the otherwise brilliant new-look Sunday paper. I’m a Capricorn on the cusp of Aquarius (Jan 19th), and your new year overview for 2009 was staggeringly accurate, and indeed clarifying for me. So far this year the Aquarian forecasts seem to have made more sense to my situation. Tell me you’ll continue your weekly summaries in some form elsewhere? Otherwise I’ll have to find another astrological voice I can trust…
